The Sweetheart Grocer was born out of a desire to build and run something that felt exciting and unique.

Founder, Laura has always had a strong sense of individual taste and style. She started her own personal collection with fashion, music, art and home decor.  Years on, it became apparent that these treasures should be shared. She was done working for the man.  She wanted to build, live and breath her own authentic offering. 

Being one who loves to be authentic rather than following a trend, it’s a thrill to find a product that we haven’t seen before. It feels really good supporting a brand that is trying to do the right thing and is doing it well. A brand that not only thinks about the health & wellbeing of the planet but who has put in thought around design, value and function. 

At The Sweetheart Grocer, our goal is to explore the world for special items worth sharing. We are devoted to maintaining a cruelty free and environmentally conscious store. Each item has been carefully selected for it’s quality, design and individuality. Made by small batch makers.
